nO sWEAT - Mango Cooler...;)

Summer Summer what can i say...my baby's going bonkers with the heat....it's 43 - 45 deg and above here, and that definately means no Outdoor activity for my baby, no more visits to the park even at 6 in the evening  or for that matter after sundown it's a sad sad 39 - 40 deg hot.
Terrible for kids...but the good thing is that schools will close in a matter of 1 or 2 weeks maximum, who doesn't like summer vacation in their home country...atleast it's a lot better than here...!!
Coming back to coolers, well my babe was really thirsty and i decided to give her something cool, instead of plain water...and i came across a mango in the refrigerator, and wullah i required just 4 ingredient's...!!

Ingredients:
  1. Ripe Mango: 1 Large Sized.
  2. Sugar: To Taste.
  3. Cardamom: 3-4 nos( crushed ).
  4. Water: 2 Glasses.
  5. Mint: To garnish.
Method:
  • Peel the mango and take all the fruit flesh.
  • Add the Mango flesh, Sugar, Cardamom, &Water in a blender, blend it to a pulp consistency.
  • Mix water to bring it to juice consistency.
  • Garnish with mint leaves & serve cold...;)

Eggless Choco - Nutty Cookies The Best Thing about them: I fall in love with these cookies each time i bake them, actually one can never stop raving enough even as the aroma waffles through the entire house as these cookies still bake in the oven, a heavenly combination of Chocolate and Nuts...Hmmnnn....!! The Worst Thing about them: I cant stop myself from eating them through the day, i don't wanna share them with one single soul..to top it..I'm drooling.. ahemm ...sorry about the gooey mess that went on the keyboard even as I'm typing this..!! Okay lets forget all about the mess and concentrate on the recipe of the cookies: Over the past year or two(i.e since i actually began baking out for just the sakes of passion of  baking) i realized that baking gives you such a high..even when i'm feeling down,low...or just feel any negativity creeping in me and i just resort to baking Believe me it just beats my stress away...and i'm all set and dolloped like chille...

+Busy-Day Chocolate Sponge Cake(Dairy Free & Low-Cal n Eggless)..;P Hi all i'm back and all set...Holidays really didn't go as planned....Since Hubby's granny passed away 2 days after we landed and the whole idea of a great holiday turned out on a very sad note, She was one sweetheart and great lady...i really really miss her, sooooo...unlike a great mom-in-law(which she never ever let me feel like she was a grand mom in law)...she was so much like my own nani-ma...sooo.... full of love and care and most importantly loved to feed all of us...just like all mom's n granny's. A grand era passed leaving only beautiful memories to be cherished behind. Anyways..,now that i'm back i was looking for an opportunity for the right time to make my post...and finally so i found one.... It's hubby's birthday today and me and my little daughter decided to bake a home made chocolate-coffee cake pretty late last night(psst: hubby was off for a late night m...

Normally when you say homemade idly's there s a certain  stigma attached to it,oh what's your proportion..?? considering the fact that not e veryone get their idly batter proport ion right the first few times.  But once you get the  of cottony soft cloud like fluffy idly's there's no looking back..!! It's actually damn easy you just got to remember 1:1/4 proportion of rice:urad dal respectively. While soakin it along with a fourth of a tsp of fenugreek and the secret of cottony, cloud like  softnes s comes from just a handful of beaten rice soaked along with the ingredients. Yes, beaten rice /poha adds to te softness magic or you can even use a handful of pre  -cooked white rice  Or left over white rice, the results are quite magical..!! Grind it with slightly lesser quantity of water and you...
